In many ways Grandpa was a stereotypical Grandpa, falling asleep in his armchair with the newspaper and Judge Judy on in the background. He was also the Grandpa who would make us grandkids peanut butter milkshakes and remind us not to tell Grandma when she got home. Grandpa was often a quiet man but showed his love in many other ways. I have so many fond memories I could write pages.
One memory I will hold forever was just last week when I had the chance to visit with him while and he was still conscious and able to speak. The last words we spoke to each other were "I love you". I will love you always Grandpa ❤️
We are saddened to hear of Duane’s passing. We always enjoyed your family living in the neighborhood & so grateful when he would take Dad to Deming Speedway so they could watch Stevens race. Our thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Dear kathy and family,
We are saddened to read of Whiteys passing. I remember Whitey as a very kind and friendly person. Johnny still talks about the party in the OLIVE GROVE.
What fun we had!
Love, Johnny and Dar
